What is NoHandsHam?
NoHandsHam is a hands-free logging assistant for ham radio operators. It listens to your radio through the microphone, transcribes what comes over the air with Whisper, and picks the call signs out of the speech as they're spoken.Key Features:
- Work a pile-up or a park activation without letting go of the mic to write anything down
- Everything it hears lands in a transcript window where you tick off the stations you actually worked
- Correct anything it misheard, and add contacts by hand
- Looks up names and locations on QRZ
- Tags each contact with your call sign, park, frequency and band
- Keeps a running total at the foot of the window of how many valid contacts you have
- When you're done, one button exports them as an ADIF file that POTA will accept
It ships as a Windows desktop app and a command-line tool, both driving the same pipeline
